Clear Lexan Polycarbonate Sheet

Polycarbonate Lexan Sheet is one of the most widely known “plastics”. Lexan Sheet with its unique combination of high impact strength, flame retardancy, and thermoformability makes it ideally suited for security applications. No other plastic can match Lexan’s combination of light transmittance (clarity), and the ability to withstand extreme impact. In thicknesses of .118″, Polycarbonate Lexan 9034 material will transmit 86% of the light. Polycarbonate Lexan 9034 is UV stabilized for short exposures, has a heat deflection temperature of 270 degrees F at 264 PSI, and has a smoke density rating less than 75. Polycarbonate Lexan 9034 sheet is engineered for window glazing as well as for sign applications. In addition to colorless (clear), Polycarbonate Lexan 9034 is available in solar gray #713 and bronze #5109 in thicknesses from .118″ to .500″.

LEXAN® 9600 sheet offers improved flammability characteristics than conventional LEXAN polycarbonate sheet. It is formulated to meet the standards of UL Bulletin, Class I. (Certain colors are limited to Class II use.) Developed to meet industry flammability codes, LEXAN 9600 sheet is widely used in power tools, electrical appliances, communications equipment, business machines, safety equipment and aircraft components.

The improved flammability and slightly higher (5 to 10 degrees) heat deflection temperature of LEXAN 9600 sheet are accompanied by essentially the same physical, electrical, chemical and fabricating properties exhibited by standard LEXAN sheet.

Polycarbonate Lexan XL Sheet is a solar grade sheet which provides superior UV resistance in addition to offering high thermal insulation values. Applications for Lexan XL Polycarbonate material include skylights, space enclosures, covered walkways, and sloped and vertical glazing. Margard Polycarbonate sheet or Lexan MR-10 sheet provides the superior impact resistance of Polycarbonate Lexan 9034 with the advantage of an abrasion resisting state-of-the-art coating.
