What are Extruded Acrylic Profiles?
Clear Extruded Acrylic Rods (aka Plexiglass tubes) are sold in standard 6 ft lengths. Minimum order quantities may apply on certian sizes. Extruded Acrylic material does not machine and polish as well as cast because of its lower-heat distortion point. It is ideal for reinforcing and decorative work.
Extruded Acrylic Profiles are available in round, square, triangle, and half-round rods. Extruded from clear, lightweight acrylic, acrylic profiles can add beauty, functionality, and improved strength at a modest cost. Acrylic profiles provide the ease of fabrication of acrylic and can be worked with most standard wood working tools.
