Acetate
What is Acetate?
Acetate sheeting is well suited for applications requiring the best optical clarity and good rigidity. It does not become limp or distort under normal temperatures. The high impact resistance of acetate sheeting withstands crazing or cracking over a wide range of temperatures under normal stresses. Acetate sheeting is an excellent shield for grease and oils, while maintaining good color and flexibility over long periods of time. Cast acetate is available in sheets 20″ X 50″ and rolls 40″ X 100″ in thicknesses from .003″ to .020″. Extruded acetate is available in sheets 22″ X 51″ in thicknesses from .010″ to .030″. Rolls 48″ X 100″ of extruded acetate are produced in thicknesses from .005″ to .030″.
