CDM/ESD Delmat 68.610
CDM/ESD is an electrostatic PCB material. CDM/ESD combines the benefits expected from composite Delmat Material with the advantages of static control. With CDM/ESD, electrostatic discharge drains off in a constant flow throughout the assembly process, which eliminates charge buildup and the potential for blown components.
CDM/ESD is a unique high performance composite material specially developed to meet the exacting requirements of faster and accurate PCB assembly. Easy to handle and lighter than metal, CDM/ESD absorbs very little heat. Its low thermal conductivity means it can take extreme temperatures and yet won’t crack, warp or shatter. Resistant to solder, it offers the potential for a single, reusable carrier throughout the assembly process. And its superior machinability means CDM/ESD can be milled, drilled and tapped to your exacting requirements.
Because of its proven quality and versatility, CDM/ESD is ideal for a nearly unlimited number of uses including silk screen printing, surface mount placement, flow soldering, manual insertion, in-line cleaning, automatic component insertion and “bed of nails” testing.
