PET-P Ertalyte
What is PET?
PET, polyethylene terephtalate, is an unreinforced partly crystalline thermoplastic. Its excellent wear resistance and low coefficient of friction together with high modulus, low creep, and superior dimensional stability makes PET the most versatile engineering stock shape material for designing mechanical and electromechanical parts in moving, guiding, and insulating applications.
PET has very low water absorption and its mechanical and electrical properties are virtually unaffected by ambient moisture. Combining these features with a favorable thermal expansion rate produces a product with outstanding dimensional stability.
With these as well as other outstanding qualities, PET is a premium engineering plastic with numerous application possibilities in many branches of industry, such as machine construction and electrical engineering.
