What is STAT-VAC Conductive Elastomer Vacuum Tubing?
STAT-VAC is a highly conductive (150 ohms per inch) colloidal carbon coated elastomer. The coating is uniformly applied to the outside surface of the hose. The hose ends of each length are dipped in coating to insure I.D. to O.D. continuity.
When using standard vacuum hose, high velocity air movement and particle abrasion on the inside walls of the vacuum hose generates static charge. STAT-VAC eliminates problems associated with static electrical discharge.
The elastomeric tubing is manufactured from materials which last up to fifteen times longer than PVC tubing.
